Darren is the love of my life! He is the most understanding man I know! He deals with so much every day and never complains. He works hard and plays harder… as the saying goes. He enjoys the simple pleasures and never looks back. He’s quite childlike in that aspect of life. That’s actually one of his best qualities, in my opinion.
He loves anything having to do with cars, muscle cars especially. His greatest love (other than me of course) is his 1969 Olds Cutlass. He actually almost recently sold it for the prospect of a new snowmobile. I think he came to his senses quickly when he realized that he couldn’t get what it’s worth right now.
He works (plays really) in heavy equipment all day. He loves his job, which I’m so happy about. There are so many people that go to their mundane jobs and hate every minute. Not him. He ‘s the type that if he decides he doesn’t like what he’s doing, he’ll change what he’s doing. He’s lucky enough to have found something he loves.
He’s also an awesome dad! He loves his little girls and lets them get away with a lot more than tough ol’ mom ever does! I think that goes back to the child inside him!
